Hughes Tree

The evidence I have shows Hudson Hughes immigrating from Wales early in his life, most likely as a child. Family papers have his father as Hugh Hughes but so far have not found any supporting documentation. This tree still needs a lot of research on many of Hudson's children. So far Eli, Elizabeth, and our David are fairly well documented.

Below is Catherine's parents and adoptive parents. Her mom died when she was a new born and guessing dad could not raise two children so adopted them out to the Holesberry family. Not sure what became of him. Don't know who raised her brother John, but do have evidence of him later in life and a letter he sent to her in 1891.
